AirPair Optical Interface The AirPair platform was designed from the ground up to meet the critical requirements demanded by service providers. The AirPair platform supports copper (1000BASE-TX) or optical interface (1000BASE-SX). The Optical Interface option allows service providers a fiber interface to connect to routers or switches that do not support electrical GigE.
